Hi all,
Recently got a i5 4670k cpu with a coolermaster evo 212 fan. My temps weren't too bad but the other day while doing a prime 95 I hit 69 degrees. Does this seem hot to anyone? Should I be worried, I understand haswell run hot. Thanks

Yeah its fine. I like to keep mine under 80 in stress tests but it doesn't throttle till mid 90's I think it is

A temperature of 69 seems just fine to me. My CPU often goes up to about 60 under load.

Intel chips are fine for higher temps. Are you running 2 fans on your cooler?

Seems reasonable to me. Hexus tested 7 CPU coolers and only the best performing dual fan cooler kept a stock clocked Ivy Bridge CPU under 60C. Only a liquid system will get you cooler.

Thanks everyone, that's some peace of mind
Good to know it's ok. I was having slightly higher temps on the stock cooler and was getting concerned.
Can I still get the same overclock on a 4670k if I'm using integrated graphics (temporarily, but still)? Not sure how much it affects the temp without offloading.
