Does anyone know if Haswells integrated memory controller runs at a higher voltage than the actual RAM? Speccy shows the memory controller running at 1.696v (i7 4790k & Asrock Z97 Extreme4 mobo). The installed RAM is Corsair Vengeance 1600 stuff which is rated at 1.5v and the XMP profile is enabled too.
The only utility that shows me actual memory voltages is Asrocks own OC Tune software and it shows the memory voltage as 1.500v... But I don't know if this result is from a sensor or just SPD/bios info? Shouldn't the memory controller be running at the same voltage as the RAM? For all I know my memory could actually be running at almost 1.7v!

. I thought the readings would be the same as the DRAM (1.5v or so). My older PC with a H67 chipset and i7 3770k shows both the DRAM and memory controller voltages as 1.575v.
