Is r7 5800x worth it for just a little bit more?

Hello there, I'm currently doing a build with a 3080 for gaming, streaming and editing and I currently have a 5600x unopened but I've found a way to get the 5800x for about £50 more, is it worth doing this option, I'm planning on getting the Arctic freezer 34 esports duo.

The 5800x would give you more CPU power to do streaming & editing, but it also runs a lot hotter than the 5600x, so you'd probably need a more expensive CPU cooler.

For £50 more it is definitely worth it given your use case.

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

I would say for £50 more, by all means get the extra cores, I know some people don't like to talk about 'future proofing' things in technology terms, but 3080 with 5800x will do you solid for years to come.

For £50 more - definitely! I think the RRP of the 5800x gives it a poor value compared to 5600x and 5900x (if you can ever find one). If you can find it cheaper than RRP then I think there's merit to purchasing it if you require the extra cores.
