    Just out of interest, why not used VGA?

    As i understand it HDMI has to comply with HDCP DRM so surely your going to just get less problems with VGA?

    I have the same type of samsung but the 32" version and I have my laptop plugged into it via VGA with 7.1 sound off the laptop and it works a treat, no borders runs at the correct res and the pic quality is perfect.

    I use 3 TFT's on my main rig and shuttledownstairs, the 2 on my main PC are DVI and the shuttle VGA, I have these things side by side and there really is no difference in pic quality between the inputs.
