Interesting thread.

I've had a 27"/30" high res IPS on my wishlist for a very long time, I really like the idea of gaming at 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 and never considered how this would look on a larger screen, I guess I was more excited by the numbers than anything else, but having read this I now want to find a place where I can try out playing a game on a larger screen just to see how I would get on with it, there seems little point in getting a really high res monitor and then finding I can only use it at 1920x1200 when it would be cheaper to buy a 1920x1200 screen to start off with. The nearest place I can think of is Yoyotech on Windmill Street in London or somewhere like the Gadget Show.

Does anyone know of PC related trade shows or exhibition events coming up in the London area sooner than the next Gadget Show?
