Dell ST2220T touch screen. How to get working on Win 7 ?

Just bought this monitor. Using it with a Sandybridge PC. Have 2 SSD inside , one with Win 7 Ultimate, the other with Win 8

With Win 8 all the touch facilities OK. With Win 7 no joy. Have downloaded Win Touch Pack but wont install, comes with an error about not having 2 touch points? But in Computer properties it says no pen and touch found.

Help!! Have I missed something?

Lacking an appropriate driver in Win 7? If you're running 2 OSes you'll need to install drivers in both of them.

Check in device manager to see if it's installed and if you've got any "problem" devices. If it is there, try uninstalling then reinstalling the drivers.

Thanks for message. Win 8..it just worked when connected. Win 7 .. I have installed the Dell driver so that the monitor name appears in Device Manager. No other problems show up in Device Manager,

Got it working! Used a different USB port on the PC..are all usb ports not the same??
