Anyone got any recommendations for a monitor which will see a lot of gaming. Looking for one £150 below as i want two. I'm looking for one with a higher refresh rate if possible. Cheers in advance!

I doubt you will get better than 60hz for this price, but you can still get a decent monitor. Also not sure why you want 2 monitors for gaming unless its for strategy games in which case you don't need higher than 60hz refresh rate. ASUS offer many good choices with great response times such as this: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/236-a...speakers-black
I have a Dell Ultra Sharp 23 inch. IIRC it was around £160 but it might have decreased since then. It had a IPS panel and usb slots but no HDMI (only DVI and VGA)
Specs wise there's a £80-90 AOC 21.5" 1080p on Amazon. Seems decent to me, it's got the same contrast/brightness as my Dell but it's LED.
I remember there being a Acer Slim that was 24 inch but slightly lower contrast although £40 cheaper and with a TN panel.
Asus VS247H 24" at Scan.co.uk with 2x awards. Can't be that bad. £145.50
AOC I2353FH 23" at Scan.co.uk with 3x awards. Again, can't be that bad. £130
I tend to favour Iiyama monitors -- I have had a good run of buys with them.
A list is here:
http://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-...ors-tvs/lcd-24 (Filter list to Iiyama).
At first glance, the Iiyama ProLite E2480HS-B1 or E2481HS-B1 look like reasonable buys to me.
There may be others out there that also peak your interest.
(Note: A good quality 27" unit would be a good bit over the £150 price point [at least, for a premium brand], so I have not listed any 27" options.)

I picked up a couple of these new IPS panelled Acer's H236HL http://www.scan.co.uk/products/23-ac...d-sub-dvi-hdmi. They are £148 in Today Only.
I pulled together an unboxing video if you want to see what they are like:
They look really smart and have thin bezels. Originally, Iw as looking at the AOC and the LG but I didn't like the look or build quality of the AOC and almost went for the LG before I came across this Acer. It is fairly new to the market and looks gorgeous
ASUS VE247H. Cant go wrong.
Asus seem to have a few sub £150 options and seen some good deals on today only on scan.
