Actual places to view *Actual* monitors

    Hi All,

thinking about getting a new monitor to pair with my rig, and wanting to have a look at the usual 3 suspects (27" 2560x1440, 29" 2560x1080 and a 'gaming' 120Hz monitor). I've been looking at reviews etc online and dimensions, but just want to see things with my own eyes - especially in regards to a 120Hz monitor, to see if I can 'see' the difference (as some people can, and some cant).

I've pretty much bought every electrical component online for as long as I can remember - so any suggestions on places I can go to see the above? Do PC world and the like have things like this - wouldn't have thought so but just dont know.

Dont really want to buy and then DSR as I have to pay postage, and they are all going to be beastly to courier back. I'm in Hertfordshire (Hemel Hempstead and Stevenage areas) if that helps.

    Help me spend my money!!!

    JP

yep. One of the gant purple hangars is the place to go. But, be aware that they don't stock enthusiast-grade kit. So useless for your 2560x1080 purchase,.

For that you need to go to the midlands for one of the specialist suppliers.
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

Balls, its going to be a pain to decide. To be honest I think I have decided on a 120Hz one, just to see the fuss, and it doesnt have the downside of possible compatibility (21:9) and needing bleeding edge power (2560x1440), so thats what I really wanted to see.

Shame really. Not sure. Might have to chance it and just buy one
