External monitor for RMBP?

Hello,
I'm looking for 27-30" monitor for the Retina MBP as external monitor, any recommendations? Will need the monitor to keep the 'retina' resolution so I assume will need 4k/5k monitor for the size? will the 5k dell a good option for the job?

Which model of RMBP is it? The 5120x2880 screens require two displayport outputs to drive so might be tricky to get working with every model.

2560x1440 equivalent at 27" is also on the compressed side, 32" would be the nominal size, so it may not suit if your setup has a longer viewing distance.

mid 2014 15" RMBP and late 2013 13" RMBP, if both works thats perfect otherwise at least the 15" can use the external monitor.
