Need some help to find a game to play

I want a realistic tactical or stratergy games mostly, i checked Hexus.wargames, although it might as wlel be called Hexus.IL2 . The games ive liked:

DoW, used to be LoW Hippy... and play with the j3llys alot if anyone plays it online alot. I know its not realistic or anything but boy was it fun (after 2 years i got bored).

The sort of game im looking for is along the lines of Combat Mission or Close Combat or Hearts of Iron. Preferably not to the level of Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday, that game makes everyother game look small for the amount of time it takes. Ive looked at Frontline (not my thing), warfront (not my thing), company of heroes (not my thing) etc... so i would be greatful for any names of games you can throw in here

p.s. it needs to more realistic than not.

Railroad Tycoon, bit from the left field, but massively absorbing.

I really enjoyed Mark Of Chaos, although, probably doesnt fit your realism criteria.

my last game was railroad tycoon it is a good game no doubt about that, but i kepy wanting a little artilery unit to blow up the ai stuff in the way of my train track laying
