xbox 360 & ps3 mouse & keyboard support

if these consoles are getting mouse and keyboard support,will they play just as well as the pc,because i remember the ps2 having a mouse and keyboard,that did not work propally it just emulated the game pad.

the ps2 had USB ports, and was technically capable of connecting any USB devices. The implementation of keyboard/mouse support into games was very limited, but existed (e.g. age of empires, unreal tournament). both the 360 and ps3 also have usb ports, so the same could well apply (UT3 definitely has keyboard & mouse support on the ps3, i don't know about on the 360)

you're thinking of an unofficial third party device to emulate a gamepad with a ps/2 keyboard & mouse. it sucked.
