Why So Few Peeps Playing XBLA Games Online?

Seriously.

I don't expect every game to be ramed like Halo3 is every night, but you'd think there would be at least a handful of people on any game at a given time.

It took me nearly a week of looking for someone actually playing Golden Axe to get the achievement for completing a multiplayer game, because noone on my friends list had it and it was dead online.

And its not just old, crusty Mega Drive ports that don't have any players, I've yet to actually see anyone online playing Sensible Soccer. Its supposed to be a classic.

Apart from Uno, you can never get a game of anything.

Good games as well - Assault Heros, called 'the new King of Xbox Live' in the IGN review - dead. Completely and totally dead.

Like I say, I can understand old, crappy games having no players, but good games, fun games, newish games have nobody at all playing after about a fortnight.

No point having 12 trillion people playing Halo3 if you can't play anything else.

I thought SWOS would be massive, its not been out long, and it should be good online. Nowt.

Ah well. Everything has a flaw. XBL flaw is everyone lumps together on the same few games and you get bored ****less.

The peeps on my friends list have no taste, so they don't get things like Sonic, Golden Axe, Jet Pac, the classics.

Its a shame ive got loads of XBLA games now and pretty much the only ones ive found with anybody playing are uno and poker. Some awesome games there too . I want some MP lumines!

I can get a game of COD4 anytime of the day, and not only new games, I still play Infiltration online once in a while, a mod for the original Unreal, that's gotta be at least 8 years old by now.

I managed to get one single game of Poker Smash the other day before they left. And that was it.
I'll try Carcassonne multiplayer tonight. Let see if there's anyone playing that. Great game btw.

assault hero's is a great little game. problem is people tend to play xbla games for a week or 2 after they are out and then leave them unless they are card games

I sometimes pop on to see if anyone is playing Jetpac, but there's never anyone online.

Worms on the otherhand, you can get a game easy.

Some games are just dead online a short while after their out, I tried to get the multiplayer ones for Golden Axe, Streets of Rage and Geon without much luck (Geon more so than the others as you need 4 players for some of the achievements and your lucky if you can get 1 other player)

Its getting to the point that peeps should stop including online achievements in their XBLA games, because unless the game is massive, or you download it within a week of it coming out, you can't get those achievements, or at least not without posting on forums to find someone else who has it.
