Is it me or does UT3 seem to add something to mouse movement on higher resolutions?

    Hey guys,
I recently reinstalled UT3 and forgot to change the resolution back to what I usually play it on. So I played a few deathmatch games and then foolishly realised I was playing on 800x600. So I changed it to 1152 and I instantly noticed something was wrong with the mouse.
It feels as if mouse smoothing is on but its not... it just seems to add this...fluffyness to the mouse movement which isn't apparent in 800x600.

I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this?
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The movement in UT3 feels wrong full stop, so I find it hard to gauge changes at all.

I will give it a try myself sometime this week and let you know if I experience the same

UT3 has 'view acceleration' (read: mouse acceleration) on by default. You can turn it off as described here: TweakGuides.com - Unreal Tournament 3 Tweak Guide

    I used to play BF3, Battlefield BC2, BF4 and TF2

    Do something amazing.... Give blood

So they have 2 settings for "mouse acceleration"
    Thanks ciber.

Although now...it feels even more weird haha.

Re: Is it me or does UT3 seem to add something to mouse movement on higher resolution

Could it be from the extra pixels?

I mean imagine if there were only 10 across. Moving the mouse would be super fast compared to if there were 1000. Assuming each unit of mouse movement moves 1 pixel per time. Though mouse accelaration would change this.

I may have made that all up though I may have read something like that once.

Though the game works fine for me

Re: Is it me or does UT3 seem to add something to mouse movement on higher resolution

    It's probably mouse acceleration.

I find that you get used to this kind of thing really quickly. No matter what freaky thing screws you up, if you stick with it for a few days you get used to it to the point where you can't even notice it any more, and in fact, if you then try playing it without that thing, you miss it.
