I'm gonna buy this when my points arrive, not even because I think I'll be completely wow'd by it (I tried the demo, it seems nice enough), more because I guess I have a romantic view on well made indie games and indie developers. Probably in the same way people like supporting indie bands, as in proper ones, not radio1 indie.
However, I've just read that they've sold almost 30,000 copies of it but the game still isn't profitable EVEN with the fact it costs more than other games. So I'd be intrigued to know just how much this thing cost to make and just how 'indie' it actually is (with guy coding in bedroom for 48 hours straight being suitably indie).
Well it depends if putting it at 1200pts made them more or less money. If it put so many people off, then it will have made less than a 800pt release.
