GTAIV Achievement - 5 Car Flips.

Anyone got a way to get this achievement that actually works?

I've been trying the fast car at the airport method, using the yellow signs in the Turismo, faster car on the game, and it doesn't work. Usually the car doesn't flip 5 times no matter what speed and angle you hit the sign, and on the few times it does do 5 flips the acievement does't unlock anyway.

Can anyone remember how you did it, and if it was this way, why can't I get it to work?

Goto the airport, bomb down the runway and hit the little yellow things by the side. This will send your car flipping through the air, repeat untill done.

I haven't done it myself, but I would have thought something like a 4x4 would actually roll better. Given the amount of space in the airport, you should be able to get them up to a decent-ish speed to give it a go.

I did mine at the airport with a comet (I think)
It takes quite a few tries however, I got bored on my first attempt but then went back the next and got it.

I got in on my 3rd attempt using the above method. Just persevere. It does does seem to be a dodgy achievement to trigger though as it unlocked for me after I'd rolled a few times over 2 runs, then again on my 3rd run. The 1st runs were flips width ways, the 3rd one was bonnet to rear.

i did it the same as above, just keep hitting them yellow things at HIGH speed.

Here's the trick..
Go to the runway as stated, hit the jump and keep the accelerator held down, most the time you'll land on your wheels and keep going, hit another jump or and it usually pops.
I'm guessing keeping the button held down just links them together.
I got 4 spins on my first, kept going and just off the 2nd jump the achievement unlocked.

i been trying this too

did an absolutely superb quadruple flip in a 4x4 over the top of a parked plane landed perfect on all 4 wheels.

no achievement yet though will try what you all suggested

I did it in an Infernus at the airport - they don't roll as easy as some other cars but are fast. Get a long run up and go flat out and hit a hoarding at an angle. After a few tries I hit the sweet spot and rolled for England!
