what specs are you on etc? Can't really judge a dx10.1 game on a dx10 card (on a dx9 setup), even more without knowing the settings it's being run at.

I put it at max now, hardly a change and systems are in my spec but ill list anyway:
CPU: e8400
GPU: 9800GTX 720/1674/1144
RAM: 4gb ddr2 pc6400 cas5
OS: XP
I know i cant really judge it in performance but quality=fail, its a cut down crysis with a far cry setting.....
Yeah but balls to what it looks like - whats it play like man?
Resolution?
Graphics drivers?

Looks pretty good to me....
Sorry forgot them.
Drivers; 180 new nvidia oneas
Res: 1680x1050
AA: the 30-45 was with very high(not ultra) and no AA, online i put ultra and 2x AA
HDR: On
Thats what i dont get, i bought it cos it looked good but it looks worse then that.
And to what it plays like, i got bored probs because i havent got far enough and it doesnt seem to be my game. You drive around, go to place A kill enemy's and get a call and then SLEEP in a safe house, grand theft auto style.
Im going to force myself to play it more as soon as i get some food lol.
Maybe being a bit harsh, just loaded it up again and cained a few guys but my mouse made me get hit alot( i won still !) stupid optical mouse. I still think graphically it could be improved quite a bit, fire is OK but explosions/fire in crysis looks better and less fake(imo).
Heres a screen shot of me with the flamethrower at 1680x1050, 4aa and everything on max
thats reszied but a link to original is http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...farcry21-1.jpg
Might just be me as im used to crysis to much now but what do you lot think?
Looks bloody good to me Hicks12 any chance you can fry some DRM bad guys on your next screenshot its just the image alone will keep me going till mine is delivered friday..
Ill try and fry some people. I think i was a bit harsh to say its crap, an over reaction i think since its good once you get used to it and considering i prefer crysis (hide and kill xD) and co-op games its not doing to bad. I hate the dark though, cant see **** all so killing people is SOLID and my mouse=suckage .
Will get back on it in a bit and upload some more pics
secuROM strikes! >_<
Can't play the game because secuROM is telling me "emulation software detected", despite it not being present anywhere on my PC. Someone on Ubisoft forums said they emailed secuROM about the issue and they gave him a link to download a new .exe file. Seems secuROM is so great it corrupts the .exe of the game it is protecting, can't get better protection than that!
Have to play the waiting game now (instead of Far Cry 2), see what they reply to me with after I sent them the analysis file.
Thanks Ubisoft, ****ting on your customers ftw!
can send you my exe file if you want?. Had no issues with mine with securom yet.
UBI have done something better than EA!, it states securom is used and a linmited amount of activations etc although in small print under the specs its better thyan EA's "internet connection required" or "internet activation required"
Doubt it will work tbh
The way secuROM works is to tag the .exe file to belong to the specific disk it came from.
ok so securom just gave me my new .exe and I'm into the game hours after the install >_<
