    Manhunt

Anyone tried this, I got it for the PS2 a few weeks back and it's not too bad. Finally got the nail gun so can kill from a short distance. The aim is to sneak up on thugs who are paid to hunt you down (rather like the running man) whilst your actions are filmed for TV audiences.

You are rewarded for the gruesomeness of the kills you perform. Generally this means getting behind and enemy following them closely whilst holding down the attack key as the target reticle goes from green to orange and then to red. Red performs the most violent death possible and the quietest as well normally allowing you to avoid detection from other nearby enemies.

Some weapons are single use such as plastic bags and shards or glass whereas others can be reused like Baseball Bats and Crowbars.

The joy to be had is scary considering the violence level. Like wrapping someones head in a plastic bag so they suffocate and claw at it as you beat them around their head until it's just a pulped mess in the bag and they are just an inert body. Or better still use the baseball bat to throttle them until they're semi conscious and in a kneeling position then step back and just take their head clean off in a shower of blood and bone. The crowbar is especially evil and very effective at ripping through flesh and bone not to mention puncturing skulls

maybe i should worry I enjoy it so much....

I got it over Christmas for the PS2 and really enjoyed it, which is quiet a disturbing statement when you conside the amount of gore . It's not too difficult to get into unlike some of the other stealth games that are about and there are loads of nice touches to the game such as breaking a window to get a shard of glass, chucking a can to distract someone.

It's also quiet good because there are three different levels of stealth kills in the game depending on how long you manage to hide behind someone and they are all very inventive to say the least... Sawing someones head off with a cheese wire for example.

If you get a customer, or an employee, who thinks he's Charles Bronson, take the butt of your gun and smash their nose in.
