Yes but it cant load the grpahics properley- you keep getting a mili seocnd delay every minute or so and textures go missing

What do other people do, frame limits on or off when playing vice city ?

I really hope you can swim in this one, even if its only for a short period of time before your clothes drag you down or something. Always amazed me that a guy that can seem to do anything never learned to swim ... or even float !

Well im running it at 1280x1024x32 with visuals on optimum in the ati 3d menu from control panel. It looks lovely- if i turn the frame limiter off though it take a split second to lad some textures...

umm i was told by Rockstar rep that it will be coming out on Xbox and PC aswell but the b.... wouldn't give me a timescale. She said the Sony Exclusivity can be as little as 3 months (1Q).

    More GTA:SA stuff from Playstation.com :
Following yesterday's speculatory story based on the release of the first three GTA San Andreas sceenshots a new raft of information has arrived courtesy of Rockstar Games that give first solid details of the title.

First up - the locations. It's emerged that San Andreas doesn't refer to a city but an entire fictional West Coast state. This is made up of three separate areas: San Fierro (San Francisco), Las Venturra (Las Vegas) and Los Santos (Los Angeles). If you're already thinking 'big' then double it and add a few noughts. It's been claimed that each of the three cities is linked by areas as large as the entire Vice City map. Yes, it's up to six times bigger! Have a little think about that.

Second, the main character has been named as Carl Johnson. He returns to his home state after serving five years in the Liberty City slammer. His mother has been killed, his family is falling apart and his childhood friends are going off the rails. Our hero is framed for murder by a couple of bent cops sending him on a journey across the whole of San Andreas as a wanted fugitive. You like?

If that's not enough we've also heard that game will incorporate a stamina meter (you'll have to eat to stay fit) and dramatically improved building interiors. Improved interiors are something many fans have demanded since GTA3 and OPS2 is hugely excited at the prospect of an even more expansive game environment. Especially when it means we can visit Las Venturra casinos and spend all our dirty money on craps and blackjack. Or maybe commit the odd burglary to pass the time...

Oh, we nearly forgot, that screenshot of the dudes in the drive-by shooting? Apparently advanced character AI means CJ can recruit gangs and use them to help him in missions. Four guns are better than one, after all.
