Any one had a go at these ? I played joint operations and finally got fed up of spending my time getting a lift on a helicopter to the war zone, getting shot down over the target or teh pilot crashing, dieing, re-spawning and starting the process over again. On the few occasions I managed to get into combat I took a few players down before being wiped out by indirect fire from passing gunships/patrol boats. Only once did I succumb to another infantryman. Revenge for me having shot his mate off the top of a Humvee. Fair one.

So on to United offensive. Massive maps, tanks, jeeps, umm......hello, is there anyone there? Ran around Foy getting promoted for staying alive for so long. Mainly because I didn't see anyone to fight. Until a panzer IV obligingly drove past and stopped allowing my to trot out and place a satchel charge on his backside..... Rot in hell Kraut And that was about it until I discovered that the flamethrower is somewhat short ranged so while I thought I was happily toasting another German (the second or third I'd seen in the game) being unable to see him through the flame, he was cheerfully setting up an MG34 (he had time to strip and clean the damn thing) and introduced himself with a long burst of tracer which I sure as hell saw....briefly. Not sure on UO, the jury is still out. Anyone else had similar experiences?

Back to the tried and trusted of Pavlovs house in COD mayhem, madness and brutality. All part of growing up and being British, well Russian pixelated impression anyway. A short life but a merry one. No shortage of comrades in arms (short lived ones) or enemies (also short lived). Smaller maps inviting constant contact. Hiding in a bush and sniping won't get you far either.
