Nah, there'll be plenty of chance to win something... the BYOC area has loads of stuff going on. Sure, some of it is team based, but with David offering FREE tickets, surely we can scratch a team together?... it's FREE bar the travel... we can even kip down AT the event, so no need to spring for a hotel room!

Even if we don't win anything, there's still the fun events as well... but with second and third prizes for everything, tis got to be worth a crack. I mean, imagine walking off with a brand new CPU just cos we fluked it for one event? How class would that be?

Plus there's the added LAN fun of just getting to know other people... perhaps even picking up a few tips here and there...

You can bet your bum that someone, somewhere will be playing a game you're up for. One of the good things is, Jolt and Co are making sure that they'll be catering for everyones gaming tastes... so I reckon that if you've got a mutliplayer game of whatvere sort, they'll be able to hook you up to some MP action in no time...

Walking over and saying 'hi' to the guy you've just pwned has got to be worth the cost of the train fare in anybody's book!

I'm used to being in the same 'bracket' as most of the teams/players going and am just assuring it won't be an easy time, especially as this is one of the first big prize open LAN tournies

Free tickets saving you £75 quid and you moan about travel being too expensive cos David's not offering to pay your train fare?

If you can't go for whatever reason, fair enough, but think beofre posting ok? Its a pretty big kick in the balls to go to the trouble of sorting out free tickets and then get such negative comments.

Anyone who is able to go would be mad not to. This is probably the best LAN event this country is yet to see. Only one other LAN event int his country has had a sponsor this big before and that didn't even have an open tournament.
