Yes it does, it has mostly english and japanese menus and it is more than enough to navigate around.

And remember you'll only have to put with the japanese menus for another couple of months.

Seems like plenty of people have imported already and they've had no problem with using the japanese game.

Just make sure you know what to do to make your PS2 read a japanese game, it wont do it standard (i dont think)

Looks like they are having problems with GT4's ISO. My only chance of playing it was to import it and use HDAdvance to bypass the region problems, but seeing as they are having problems with HD programs and GT4 i just have to forget about it for now

Hope they fix it or patch it

that grand canyon shot is amazing

needs some tree's in it to make it abit more realistic, how can they produce such good graphics from a GF4 ? surely the PS2 is going to struggle

Its not an in game shot

Its using the track and car models, but its rendered externally - most likely by something like 3D Studio Max or Lightwave.
There are quite a few shots like that of GT4 floating around the net.

    Still looks chuffin' nice tho

If memory serves, there's a "high-res" screenshot option which lets you take pics like that built in to the game.

While yes, it is not rendered during racing, think about this. If our 'old and busted' PS2s can render something like this, the PS3 will have better in game graphics than that screen shot . GT5 will be so close to photo-realistic

I know its a bit early to start thinking of GT5 , but its a nice thought. And theres plenty to do until that day
