Valve have really lost the plot with this steam rubbish. Steam is quite possibly the most buggy and useless peice of cr"p I've ever had the misfortune to install. I've lost count of the number of times its crashed or not loaded. it takes 5 minutes to even load for christ sake. The fact they beta tested it for months makes it even more shocking!

My housemate can't even get steam to update cs or hl it just crashes.

Quite simply its put me right off play cs , I used to play loads and I just don't feel the urge anymore.

Don't even get me started on cs 1.6 thats got even more bugs and flaws in. Some1 at valve needs to be introduce to HCI pronto.

The odd thing is the beta version of Steam was solid. I had a few problems to start with getting it running, but after that it was fine. Never had any issues at all.

CS 1.6 itself is fine. The shield is perhaps a bit strong and needs toning down a little (but tbh I like it the way it is) but otherwise I'm not seeing any other bugs Gordy?

    Bugs:

    Text size is shocking
The way they've rearranged the buy menus defies belief. Why on earth have a different method for buying a scout on t or ct thats just stoopid.
I get loads of infinite sound loops

    etc etc

I can't even get steam to load on sleepehs pc
