Gimmic or Genius idea ?

I've just seen the review of the DX-1 on Tomshardware and feel that it is going save me a LOT of sore fingers as I have to strain to use either WASD or the cursors.

looks like a good idea but i dont think its something i would invest in - changing controls so extremely would a) mess up my gaming for awhile while i get used to it. b) if you ever played on smoeone elses machine you would be at a loss without it

Interesting idea, but I think its a gimmick.

indeed, interesting and possible noteworthy idea but its hardly going to catch on...
keyboard = £10, DX1 = £ lots more than 10!
ergonomically designed or not I can't see it taking off in a huge flurry, just yet.

Surelly with enough of them made the prices will drop. Something like $50-60~£30 is a common price for a nice gaming peripheral. Give it a couple years and more people will have them. I'd quite like one if it works as described.

Gimmic for me, WASD ain't that far away from being spot on for me, and I will be damned if I am gonna pay £100 for something that will suit my little finger better by a couple of millimeters.

I am sure some avid gamers will purchase though.
