Good Intel Processor For Gaming

I have had AMD for years now, think the i7-4790K was my last Intel.

At the time I was reading the 13600K was going to bring in the best frame rates however like everything some games work better on AMD than Intel and vica versa

The 7800X3D is AM5 so even if I wanted to upgrade to that I would have needed a new motherboard plus memory so would be in the same position upgrading anyway.

Apart from a bios issue which turned out to be my graphics card that needed a bios flash its been running well. It is quicker than the 5700G I had but that was to be expected.

Seems snappier overall but that could be placebo as its a new Windows install. But games are definitely faster

In the end I got rid of the 13600KF and went with an i7-13700K with a Z790 mainboard. All running well and happy with it
