Doom3 Removed Scenes.... (56K unfriendly warning!)

I remember back in 2002-3 these Doom3 pics were released on the Net, but they never made it in the Final Doom3 game...
    Or did I miss something?

I don't recall seeing these guys anywhere in Doom3?!

Or this Zombie with no shirt:

And the hungry dog "Yum Yum" scene:

    This scene in Hell?

The revenant in the Underground Cavers?

And in this scene you can see your self on the mirror wearing a helmet.

These guys infront of the generator

    The poor soldier being zombified!

Or the famous "Creepy ass scientist and a teeth gritting soldier" scene

I wonder why they were removed? They looked cool.

This guy was supposed to be in Doom3...

But you only get to see him in the expansion.

All these pics are supposed to be from the Alpha version.
The Alpha version is a lot scarier than the full game because this time the enemies look scarier and the shadows are completely black. You can even use the flashlight and a gun at the same time. Now he does wear the helmet and it looks a lot better.

It looked like the people at ID Software got pissed after the Alpha was leaked and they decided to make new levels that haven't leaked.

And how about the Arachnotron or Spidermastermind:
I guess he never made it past the concept art.
    Pitty...

Stable alpha is a bit of an oxymoron.

Not forgetting that those were really early shots of the game, most likely used for PR and show purposes only at the time. Just so people could see it running with a few monsters etc.

I still liked it, was a no holds barred blast. Nothing more and nothing less, they didnt pretend and hide behind anything saying it would be anything else.
