    slimline PS2 network card DEFECTIVE.

I have an original beefy PS2 and a slimline PS2.

I play an online game called Socom 2 which is a team based 3rd person deathmatch type thing.

anyway when connecting to the network with my slimline PS2 it takes several tries to connect before the DNAS check. My original one will connect first time everytime. This particular slimline blew up for a different reason and I got a new one this one didnt have the network problem so the last one must have been in someway defective. I have also found out that another person (online forum) has the same problem.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Also the replacement has just gone up the duff.... isnt that great.

I swear half the PS2 sales figures are from people buying replacements for their >1yr old broken ones

These slimline ones seem even worse, I poseted this on a socom forum and one person said they have had 3 replacements so far.
