Am playing it in 30-60 minutes stints as it does start to get boring after that. On the Section where you have to find the map bloke at the moment.

Still have FPS problems with it though, which is silly really as I have a 2.3 AMD and a 9800Pro

Just found out there is a benchmark mode in Halo. To use it add -timedemo to your shortcut.

Dunno why it says particle = off as they are set to high.

Pretty weirs that it shows particles off. Wonder if this means that it doesn't support it at all and that it is just a straight forward port over ?

Same here. 9800pro, 3200+ CPU, 512mb DDR400 RAM, and its average FPS at best.

It's just crap coding m8 and there is nothing we can do about it. Even with a 4ghz P4 and OCed 9800Pro they are only reaching the 53FPS

It just goes to show that it a straight port over with extra MP stuff for the PC version. It was really bad on the X Box for slowing down and even stopping in places. I really hate it when companys do that

I've stopped playing it. Yeah I get and average of 26 FPS which should give really smooth running but the ingame vid sequences are really choppy even in low detail. This should run perfect on my PC let alone the specs that are higher than mine with the RAD 9800 Pro.
