Question Help in choosing new game

I want to buy a shooter for my GC and was wondering if anyone can recommend either Timesplitters2 or Medal of Honour: Frontline

Im looking for a game that has a decent one player game, but it must have an excellent multiplayer game as that is what I use my GC for most. Ive read reviews for both but would like an opinion from someone who has played one of the games (not bothered by format since I believe they are comaprable)

well timesplitters2 multiplayer has, i think, the best multiplayer that consoles have to offer. And its damn good. Single player is also good but wont take you long to complete.

Medal of honour: frontline has brilliant single player. However the multiplayer didnt really do it for me. The graphics became very poor and the gameplay was crap - due to lame (tiny) maps and generally boring.

so i'd go with timesplitters2, if ure looking for multiplayer. Purely because its great fun - Loads of weapons , a ton of maps and the most characters i have ever seen in any game.

I'd go with Timesplitters 2 myself. Bought Frontline the other day and its just complete crap. It starts with the beach storming like on the PC but just doesn't really capture you at all, wish I hadn't bought it and it was only £15 from WH Smiths.

One I really do like on the Gamecube however is Metroid Prime, been playing it quite a bit and really enjoying it loads. Controls are fantastic, easy to get into and some of the bosses are HUGE !

There are not many great FPS for consoles atm, (well since Goldeneye really). Played TS2 on my mates XBox yesterday, it was alright, easy to pick up and play which is important cos when ppl are playin its unlikely that all of them will have played the game b4.
However, I aint orderin it, it might have been the TV or the drink but I actually felt a bit ill when playin it ( rarely had that b4 with a game). Plus theres 3 games I want to buy in November anyway (Mario Kart, 1080 Avalanche and Madden NFL 2004)

I had Timesplitters 2 on the X Box myself before I got rid of the console. It was just the same as Goldeneye in the weapons and the way it plays but with different settings. The western level was fantastic. When I see it going cheap (2nd hand or bargain bin) on the Gamecube I'll buy it just so I can finally finish it. I had gotton onto the robot factory. That was a bloody tough level.

I agree i played this at my mates house and it is superb easy controls and cool idea with the helmet and everything although they should have included a multiplayer or a co-op
