Well I think the people buying them on Ebay are grateful they are on Ebay in the first place to be honest, reguardless of the price (well actually bit peed at the price, but still)

I was actually thinking about putting my 360 on ebay and getting double my money back until I actually played it. There is no way I'm waiting until Feb next year for one.

Just found this as well, quick shocking.

According to eBay president and CEO Meg Whitman, a staggering 40,000 Xbox 360 consoles have been sold on eBay.

As reported by Dow Jones last night based upon a presentation at the CSFB Annual Technology Conference, the 40,000 unit figure has left pundits flabbergasted. If launch supply estimates from American Technology Research are accurate, that would mean that 10% of all Xbox 360 consoles sold in the US were either sold or resold through eBay.

Its a fact that I WILL be doing it when PS3 comes out. I will buy 4 of them, and sell 3.

Would Sony see Microsoft not having enough 360s to go round now, and make more PS3s, decreasing the demand on ebay for them?
