Fable is absolutely brilliant! Massively, massively underated!

Been playing for the last couple of days and I have to say I've been competely engrossed.

Graphics are fabulous, gameplay is superb, the storyline and plot really hooks you, you have main quests, side quests, serious / dark aspects of the game with brilliant injections of humour (the bloke who tries to set you up with his daughter, the chicken kicking competition etc), the character acting is utterly brilliant, the sound/music is as good as you can get..and more.

The game is so well balanced in every way, I just cannot believe it.

People talk about Oblivion but I prefer this game ALOT more. Its fun, its engrossing, and everything a game should be.

10/10 in all categories. Incidentally, the last gave I gave a 10/10 was the original Half-Life when it was released.

I just hope they bring out a sequal or expansion pack.

Thanks for the link - very interesting read.

I love the fact that Peter Molyneux is focusing on 'emotional attachment' in the development of his games. Fable 2 looks very promising!

I thought it was good, but i prefer the complete freedom of Oblivion. Also, i found the loading extremely annoying on Fable.

Yes, but they are two very different games. I loved fable from start to finish - was sad to see it go, but it is definitely an action RPG, while Oblivion is slighly more hardcore i feel. Personally, Fable seems for fun and once you get in it, it hooks you in and is very addictive.

Graphically, i loved it and I've just got a new widescreen acer, so will be looking to have another go on it in all its WS beauty. Thinking of playing it through being evil this time, still a few side quests i never finished!

Stll, i wholly recommend it to anyone, who wants an action RPG to play for a couple of weeks or so...

Oh, i thought it was a great game, just that not quite open enough perhaps and it takes a while to get really into.

Yeah I've played the Lost Chapter for PC and it's an extremly amazing game.

I think it would be even better if they supported some sort of online play.

The trailer for Fable 2 looks great. I love Fable, I hope you can still kick chickens in the next one!

This is definately down on my MOST WANTED list for 360.

It is a very good game for such a linear RPG. One of my most memorable parts was fighting in the arena. Managed it first go all the way to the end Worst part was figuring out how to sneak through the bandits gate. ARGHHHH! The ending was very touching!
