    Oblivion magic question

Slightly dense question this: I level up to the lofty heights of level 4 and was wondering how to get some new spells, i thought it might be a bit like Baldurs gate where when u level up u get to choose a new spell or 2 to add to your spellbook, but it oblvion it seems the only way to get new spells is buy them, is this right?

you can make them later in the game, but until you have access to the facilities to do so yes, buying them is the only way

    right cool cheers,

Another question then are there any really spectacular spells? At the moment ive only really seen the basic fireball, ice touch, shock type stuff are there any biggies to unearth say like metor storms or anything?

The spells only get more powerful so you get a more powerful fireball to buy later etc, i think you can combine and change effects when you make spells, or if you feel like it you can make completely new effects using the construction set.
