xiii + audigy = dodgy sounds...

I downloaded the demo of this game a few days ago, and although its not a great game, it wasnt bad, but whenever i fire a gun such as the rifle or uzi-type thing, the first shot is fine, but the rest of the shots just turn into crackle, there was a patch for the demo, but i've got that, and it doesnt help.. just wondering if anyone had any ideas?

full version played fine on my exitigy. Demo was well buggy. Game is over hyped, it just turned into "another" FPS, even Halo had a more envolving storyline :/ I completed it in 6 hours.
