    Silent Hill 3?

Just wondered is any of you guys had played Silent Hill 3 on the PC, I've heard pretty good things about it and I'm a big fan of the Res Evil titles so I thought I may give this a look.

    Should I?

I haven't seen it out and about yet, even though I did check Game the other day.

If they do as good a conversion from the XBox ---> PC that they did with Silent Hill2.. then it will rock.

Silent Hill 2 was released nearly a year after the console version because Konami were totally redoing the engine to take advantage of the PC. Unlike so many console --> PC conversions, it was absolutely perfect.

    Time to go hunt.

Played it, v-scary l8 @ nite, lights off, totally sick n twisted. Gameplay's still a bit disapointing tho, simple puzzles, but atmospheric, oh yes..

I bought this from Play on the PS2 when it was first released and must say that the graphics and effects on it are immense but its alot shorter than the 1st two.

I got around 8 and a half hours play out of 1 and 2 but only around 5 out of 3. Also with 3 its alot more combat orientated, I got the feeling that they have milked the license a bit with it.

The final boss on it is really odd looking (Giant skeleton thing with human head) but won't say anymore as it will spoil the already shallow plotline on it. This boss also looks terrible and is virtually static.

If you havn't got the 2nd one get that instead its alot creepier with better story and characters.
