Yes, but it had stopped, 2 days ago, and you did bring it up, as you were the first to mention it since the messge was posted asking people to stop.
Anyway, Knoxy, we are both singing from the same song sheet, so lets stop debating the finer points of it.

I dont know why but im just not very excited about doom 3, yes it looks gorgeous but i have a nagging felling that its going to be shot, boring and wholy un inspiaring. The complete oppostite to what i feel about half life 2

The cynical side of me seems to be saying dont get hopes up about hl2 either- cant really see it living up to the original though no doubt it will be a great games and the graphics are a bit tasty
I don't know why, I'm just looking forward to Half-Life II a lot more than Doom III, even though I've never played Half Life before, but I loved the first few Dooms.
The early screen-shots just grabbed me, where as the Doom one's all looked a bit... red.
I'll be getting both though.
yeh i think hl2 will be more sort of puzzley not as much blowing peoples heads of and getting scared by stuff whereas doom3 is prolly just that getting killed and millions of litres of blood getting thrown every where
i no which one id prefer, hl2!
I'm not looking forward to it as much as HL2, but I wish they'd stop releasing trailers and release the damn game!!

I've had that vid for months - cool though.
I still think HL2 will 0wn it.
I'd love to see the original half-life in HL2 graphics - I hope they make a map converter, otherwise: who will join me in remaking the original in the HL2 engine?

Unfortunately the shareholders seem to have gotten their way in this case
