    Call of Duty 3 issue

Well, last night in an extreme impulse buy I walked down to my local Tesco and ended up leaving with Xbox 360, 2 games and some accessories totalling £390

So far, I'm not *all* that impressed. Xbox Live crapped out on me when I made my account after going through all the tedious settings. I retried and it worked, just had to spend 10mins entering everything again.

Now this morning I was playing Call of Duty 3. One level finishes, starts loading the next (the bit where you are pinned into the upstairs of a house and have to hold out for reinforcements, about 20-30mins in I guess). The screen fades to black, and the dashboard pops up from the side informing me the disc is unavailable (VERY QUICKLY, thats about as much as I can read before it goes away) and then goes back to the dashboard.

Why is it doing this? Every time I try and load the save game it does the same

Tempted to return and get my money, was an impulse buy, don't really want it, just wanted to be kept entertained for the evening

GoW so far is good, most MP games I join I tend to get "connection lost" at some stage which I'm a bit narked about, SP is good yet seems a little samey so far?

Man its been a while since I used a console Maybe I should've stuck with just getting sports/driving games on it?

Please advise, and/or persuade me to keep if you see fit

Bought one myself yesterday partly as an zmas present for my son and partly to play Gears of War which I think is excellent so far but only 2 levels in.

Had to put the dam thing away then so Santa " can deliver it "....

Heheheh; patience is a virtue! I was told to return the product to tesco when I called them, but I'll try swapping the game first rather than the whole thing (was a cow to get wired up behind the TV).

Managed to nip to Tesco last night before closing time and swap it, so far this has worked for longer.

    Very odd!

Just to echo what others have said, some of the games are faulty. I have a faulty copy of lord of the rings with the freezing problem. Very irritating
