I've just moved my 360 upstairs and have it connected to my PC via an Ethernet crossover cable. The PC is connected to the internet wirelessly via the router downstairs.
Is there anyway I can get the 360 online via this connection?
Thanks,
pr0p

You can pick up 5 port switches for less then £20 now. It could save you some stress?
It would be worth getting little switch. It's pretty annoying having to have your pc on when you want to use the internet on your 360. It would be cheaper in the long run as well what with electricity bills and all....
A switch would simply allow you to connect a number of devices to it, and then connect the switch to your Modem, and that way you could use the Xbox online without having to have the PC on.

Ive a PC and 360 wired to a wireless router and a HTPC wirelessy connected to the router. All works fantasidosi!
I swapped wireless for wired on 360 and get a much better performance - the missus wasnt overly chuffed with 20m of grey Cat5 cable ran up teh stairs though....

My 360 has always been rock-solid over its wifi connection, unlike the two pc's. Must just be in a sweet spot.
Im planning to wire one PC up. Should be fun scrambling round in the attic again laying cables. Its cold up there
