    Yes, although I do remember hearing a rumour of there being two teams in Manchester.

    Manchester United, and Manchester City.

    Any reason why you went for United over City, or were you just on a glory hunt at the time?

    In 1984 I was born, everyone supported Liverpool and even I was bought a hat and scarf... but I wanted to support Man Utd for sum reason and from about 1987 till now, i've supported Man Utd... I've supported them since b4 they became the awesome force they are now.

    yes in 1987 I wasnt exactly a BIG fan... but I had the home and away shirts and I watched MOTD if Man Utd was the first match (cos I wasnt allowed to stay up if Utd werent the first match.. it got too late)

    Well, not everyone supported Liverpool in 1984; just the proper Liverpool fans, and the plastic glory hunters.

    If you supported them before the 'awsome force' they are now (although Real Madrid may not see what's so awsome, to be honest), then that's not as bad, I suppose.

    Still not sure on this 'some reason' thing though. Can't remember what made you support United?
