Off to midnight mass on Christmas eve, even me dad is going, and hes an atheist, but its just so damn christmassy. Tho i go to church regularly, so its not really much of a change for me.

Normally go at sometime during advent- went last week actually
Please dont turn this into a religion bashing thread... Not what anyone want to hear
Used to go when I was younger, and the only reason I went was because I was forced to by mother *shakes fist*
It always felt awkward standing there singing, oh and it smelt funny
Can't say I have ever been to church at christmas since I was in primary school.

I used to be forced into going to church as a kid, but to tell you the truth I actually enjoy it when i get the chance these days. I find that the xmas eve carol service was the moment where the christmas spirit really hit me and without it getting into the swing of things isn't so easy

I go , but i find that when i got to Italy i want to go to Church more often as the churches over there are truly beutiful.
Not for me personally. Used to get forced as a kid and I hated it then and hate it now.
Each to their own though, especially in the festive season

Never have, never will. My family isn't remotely religious, nor am I.

I did last year cos I had sum free time, but this year work has been hectic and ive been working all the time, no days off etc
lol, the church I go to is well fun anyway, my housemate (complete rock legend) plays electric guitar nearly every week, its almost concert-esque! :-D
It feels well weird though trying to persuade my parents to come to church for the midnight service when everyones complaining of it being the other way round!

mom normally tries to force me to go and fails, but this year i've got it sorted - i'm goin out drinkin xmas eve, so there's no chance of me gettin to midnight mass (?), plus i'll have been drinkin so there is no chance of me gettin up in the morning

No chance of getting me to church. I often end up having a better night out on Christmas Eve rather than New Years Eve, looking forward to it tomorrow night.
