Song Writers Block, need help.

try and write songs that work on the tune of the lyrics rather than that they rhyme.

Rhyme the tune your singing them in rather than the words.

And use imagery, dont make thigns so straight forward. Those are my tips.

Anyone who has seen the lyrics page on the flash version of the void site, can see that our lyrics dont rhyme all over the place, but if you get a chance to see us live, you will see how little it matters.

I have to agree with Drunken Poncho there. Although power-ballads have never been my forté, I've written a few jazz and doomxcore lyrics, in the past, that have followed similar guidelines.

Also, be aware that with power ballads that the simplicity factor plays a ratio game with the cheese factor. Of course this kind of song has to have some sort of element of cheese - that's what it's all about. There is a balance, however, in:
