Just curious... there was a post awhile back posted by a mod and it said "Only certain people can view this page"

I also found I cannot view the "Who's online" page or the "members" page.

... why?

DO I have to earn my pips? or do u just severly hate me? lol

there's a forum where only the pick of the bunch can go and natter, which is probably why us insignificant people couldnt see the link in question.

also they think that the "who's online" function and the "members" page is a violation of privacy or something to stop people being stalked or whatever. I cant remember for sure, but it came up after the nuke and something along those lines were said.

yeah, but unless you were really sad and put everyone with an account on ur buddy list, you wouldnt know who was online when... and who would actually waste their time chemcing aaaaall the digits until they'd found out who all the members were? It just doesnt make it easy for people to stalk other people.

The online list IS restricted for privacy reasons.

As for "non access" there are parts of the forum open to mods/admins only etc.

we have a special forum where we beat each other up.

I am normally taking the brunt of it,and thats why I walk funnily
