"In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship."
bloody hell.
*goes out to smuggle stuff*
On the second page it says they keep it in 100s to keep the weight/volume down. It's hard to imagine being so rich that you need to keep you money in large bills for practical considerations (and not that you keep you money in 20s since you don't carry 100$ on you ).
I had the interesting job of carting US$750,000 across town some time ago, and that's about the size of three large bricks. You'd need a small truck to carry the stacks of cash you see in that article.
Imagine if you went down the next largest denomination, $20...increase that pile by a factor of five, and probably put a dent in the number of $20 actually in distribution.

So to fight crime all we need to do is get rid of large denomination bills. Its not like most legit money can't go electronically and hardly anybody carries around anything bigger than a 20.
I wonder how many wads accidentally 'disappeared' during the investigation?
Have a look at the picture again and you'll notice the first row is down by almost half.
I imagine the drug dealers had it all laid out level (a task achieved note by note while off their faces I imagine )
