They want more money, and will go to court to try to get it. Perfectly normal, but also quite evil.

Things have moved on since I first joined...
For those that want to win the battle of PR against those dirty p2p hackers (as some adverts try to explain), they aren't doing a very good job of it...
Well, to be fair: "Copyright law prevents legitimate products purchased in one country being imported into another without permission of the owner of the intellectual property rights."
If that's the law, and the company's in question have those rights... then CD-WOW are in the wrong. That's not to say BPI and co aren't greedy...
Consumers dumped on from a great height again,
Good prices on CDwow, gives other retailers something to think about,
Just a thought, regardless of which country the music is sold in, the artist gets paid anyway, so what's the problem?
I didn't question the legal aspects, merely commenting an industry that is in the middle of a PR battle over piracy, shouldn't really start fining the legal (ish) outlets.
"In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship."
However much they are giving good value to the consumers if they've been warned and agreed not to breach the rules then sorry but they deserve to be fined.
Whether i agree with the law is here nor their, they are a business and as such are liable to follow it.

And the point was made that other retailers that manage to give just as good prices are not breaking the law.
one starts to question whether its an industry being run for those running it or one for people who like listening to music.

Well, for those running it. Obviously. There wouldn't BE an industry if there wasn't money in it, and those running it will be doing so in order to make profits.
