I got one of these emails and i just ignored it, scary thing was i got phoned up by the bloke that sent it half an hour later..... I really should have told the police thinking back. All I did was listen to him waffle about buying me a plane ticket to see him, then we discuss terms in more detail once im there..... no thanks mate, ill pass!!
I'm still wondering how he got my number?
There have been cases where people who have been scammed, went over to confront the scammers. At least three people were kidnapped and held for ransom in this way.
I have heard of someone being killed, though whether true or not, I don't know, but wouldn't be too supprised, after all, these scammers are not (all) little old ladies trying to suppliment their income, they are dedicated crimminals and act as such.
Timmy!!! (southpark timmy!!!?), it's very easy to get all knids of info off the net, you were right to let it pass.
