    Meh.. what's the point of having fast trains here anyway? You just fall over more (/sometime Swindon station traveller rant).

    Hey steve, how do you know a jet was chasing it? I didnt see it. But our friends the japaneese seem to have much more, advanced trains. But maybe just maybe not the fastest.

    p.s didnt richard branson order some of those tilting trains? lol

    Read it on The Register's discussion board. The Japanese magnetic trains can go slightly faster, but that TGV is the fastest train on rails.
