I'm the same as DeludedGuy, out of 2836 of my MP3s you'll find a huge range of genres. You won't see much rap or hip hop there though. Don't like that as a rule

Although as said there is one good thing about pop music. The videos. (When there are female members of the band of course

)

Im a hard dance fan, although ill listen to any style if i think its a good tune, Im not against ultrabeat because they remixed old rave tunes its just I think they did a half arsed job on the tune just for the £££.

Stuff that I vaguely thought was worth releasing this year (not being especially a singles fan)

1 Jane's Addiction - Just because (the only comeback band who come back with their best stuff ever)
2 Sugababes - hole in the head (assuming round round was last year)
3 Adam F - we want your soul
4 Justin Timberlake - that one with somethins heatin up...
5 Chili peppers - don't stop
6 Cypress hill - lowrider - or was that last year?
7 Muse - hysteria
8 Beyonce -work it out (though Kelly Rowland's album is better)
9 Kylie - slow (yeah its pop tat - but I like it)
10 BEP - shut up

i've got broad musical tastes. i like hardcore punk for a start, but i also like hip-hop (especially UK underground stuff), jungle, dub, 60's n 70's pyschodelic stuff, old rock, blues, metal, ska etc... i love music in many forms. if i didnt have music, i'd most likely be a gibbering wreck somewhere. peace.

cba to list songs but -

Evanesence - a pop version of lacuna coil they might be.......but my immortal is nearly as good as rem when your depressed.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers - despite the fact they've been going for god knows how long they've come back with another ace album.

Audioslave - Can't remember if it was this year or not but it was the first album of 2003 i bought, cornell sounds awesome with ratm behind him, even slighty better than sooundgarden for me tbh.

Muse - its been they're year for t.v and radio coverage, brilliant band fully deserving, just hope they don't rush another album out too quick and spoil it.

Janes Addiction - come back with 2 great tracks nuff said.

been a pretty rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishty year for music in my opinion, only album i bought all year was the live rage against the machine one.

Outkast - Hey Ya was the best song of the year great tune and when it came on i was like 'what the hell is this' which is good.

last few years have been pretty crappy though dude

been a handful of good albums but most of em like the ones in my post above are by already established bands. Best thing this year for music was virgins plan of putting the metallica back catologue at 8 quid each. Been a year for catching up on the classic stuff imo
