    phone upgrade real or not

    ok got a message today im not 100% sure if its fake or not cos ive heard of orange upgrading customers who have been with them 3 + years as i have. the message reads as follows:

    UpgrdCentre <-- that is wat shows as the number ( is it real or faked )

    Orange Customer, You may now claim your FREE CAMERA PHONE upgrade for your loyalty. Call now on 0207 153 9153 ends 21st of April, T&C's apply. Opt-out Avaliable

    the ends 21st of april ( today ) makes me think its fake but im not sure anyone wanna tell me if it is

    No no no no no. Call Orange via the handset (is it 191 for Orange I cant remember) and ask about upgrades. Delete this.

    Just google the telephone number

    Lee from Scan got the same message a couple of days ago - funny thing is it was worded the same but he has an O2 number

    i got this message today and funny thing is orange did ring me yesterday to ask me to upgrade so i thought it was real!

    i gather when u phone them they dont exist?

    They say they're "Orange" but they're not. Avoid like the plague.

    If you want an upgrade call an authorised Orange direct stockist or call Orange direct from 150 from your handset (Pay monthly consumer) or 345 for business users.

    Just got this message myself - I'm jumping on the scam-wagon.

    It really aggregates me that someone has got hold of my mobile number and then can send out stuff like this. I'd phone them for fun - but an 020 number is blatantly going to cost me an arm and a leg.
