Oh don't get me wrong, the English are just as much at fault as are the Scots, Welsh and Irish...

But like kalniel says, it's more the celebration of this type of thing that gets my goat...

Honestly, it makes me worry an awful lot.

And I'm sorry but saying that these are the sentiments of a few morons just doesn't wash... Any voices of moderation or anyone correcting some of the scarily inaccurate errors are shouted down as being communist, gay and just plain wrong.

And that same aggressive poster then asks the question as to why there's so much anti-American feeling in the world... and 400 others will agree with him.

Sure, not all Americans are like this, but here's a site that started off hosting videos of college pranks and skaters wiping out which is now celebrating and condoning actions that have serious ramifications for others.

Imagine how anyone on the receiving end of this crap would feel...

"See how the U.S. boys laugh as they grenade our goats!"

"Look how the U.S. laughs as an Arab is attacked by several men!"

I wonder, how would you feel if the an extremist Muslim faction stuck up a site where you could upload videos of Americans doing stupid stuff... perhaps even host the odd beheading of kidnapped foreign nationals? Or of a culvert bomb making mincemeat of an armoured car?

After all, break hosted the Saddam execution video and numerous gun camera tapes of Apaches machine gunning Iraqi troops or bombing runs on Baghdad... where's the difference?

Oh and on a personal note, any site that has numerous users all commenting on how the English (why can't they see beyond 'English' to 'British') are useless in the Gulf and Corporal Matty Hull deserved to die in a friendly fire incident because the English are, in the poster's words, "SH**", well, that site sure as hell is never going to see me there again.

i totally agree with the above there nick, they do seem to have selective historical knowledge from what i have heard..

i dont really agree with any site that posts beheadings,hangins,shootings, war scenes, and the most worrying bit is how lost in conversation some of these people can get about a behading .. i have seen it literally like a 10 page debate at how the sound was behind the screams ect ect, very odd people that can watch that over and over in my book.

Unfortunately, as with boxers, if they're told it for long enough, they start believing they're invincible....

i hate to say it but out of all the americans i have met i found 60-70 percent unbareable to talk to in terms of vocabulary, what they had to say was same old crap, and just have no common sense alot of the time.

But i have only met a few americans so thats probably why, there are obviously some very clever powerfull people from america

Unfortunately, that's a view held by most people, but I can guarantee that there are smart, literate, intelligent, polite people in America. They just avoid the bars I visit
