Internet TV - which is best?

The family is moving out to south africa for a few years & iv had 2 ship my PC out with them so i can use it out there. With that PC went all my films & music, basically the stuff that kept me from going mad inbetween lectures at university.

In another thread craftytv.com was recommended, and iv tried it but just cant find any good programs on it. All im after is some mind numbing stuff to pass the time, simpsons, family guy, maybe the odd movie/comedy program (everybody hates chris, my name is earl etc). Quality isnt important, as long as its watchable.

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

    cheers guys.

Download Winamp you get shoutcastTV with that..It restricts how many people can watch at the same time but it can be good.

Peek Video is a good site..or was a good site I havn't used it for a while.

Try that - it's beta and still in testing but you should get some good things to watch

bah, tried everything but not one of the sites recommended worked for me.

BBC one looks very good, but all the links seems dead. You mentioned unicast links, where can i find those/infomation on them?

tv-links.co.uk also looked very good, however whatever video i click on, it loads a video window but then just stays on 'loading', nothing buffers & nothing gets played.

Any ideas? Cheers so far guys.

http://quicksilverscreen.com is good for streaming TV shows. I'm not sure of its legality, but it cant be any worse than YouTube.
