The easiest way is to cut out the milk protien altogether... soooo

    http://www.vegansociety.com/html/food/recipes/

would be a good stop... Yes, I know it's vegan, but that means NO animal products, and so no milk! You can use soya milk in cooking and wouldn't really be able to tell the diffence... so have a browse of their site. For example, use their white sauce recipe to use in place of a normal white sauce in lasagne...

Have a look, search their database and let me know how you get on.

In the meantime, I'll knock you up a list of what to look out for and how to substitute it, though that won't be a for a few days, ok?

    Captain Deckard to the RESCUE

(he's always got his pants on outside his trousers anyway )

No milk......Gawd Fraggie...mate...feel for you dude

Gotta say tho...it sounds like its a visit to the local green grocers every week, then the butchers, and do it all your self.

If Pasta is fine....and as Deck says, if Soya milk does ok for ya...

you hot LOADS of stuff to cook.....avoid pre-made stuff..and I guess thats the trouble.

When is the last time you made a Kebab at home? Chicken breast each. Courgette. Few tomatos.Peppers (red or green)

Slice all to a similar size....ram onto a kebab skewer, in a god mixed up order. Drizzle with olive oil.....grind of pepper.

get grill HOT......put under grill....turn 4 times to cook through...

Mean while.......basmati rice.....dont forget.....rinse it then heat for 3 minutes, then re rinse with boiling water, then re boil for rest of the time....most of the starch will be gone.

1 minute before kebabs come out, put cooked rice in sieve, and pour a whole kettle of boiling water through the rice and leave it to steamover the pan of water.

    Serve one on the other.....

    Kebab baby.......real stuff

My parents generally do the cooking, which is why i get the same food over and over.

my god some of the stuff I used to eat when I was a student, was a big fan of rustlers chicken burgers, microwave in 70 secs... mmmmm plastic.

used to also eat a lot of toast, dunno why it is but students eat more toast than any other demographic for some reason.

doubt there's enough interest for a cookery forum - everyone recons its a good idea but could you really pull off 2-3 new topics a day on cookery?
