    Question Comic Collectors

About 10yr ago I was getting into the American comics. Quite addictive hobby when you actually get going. Yesterday I was having a clear out and came across a few issues that I am now wondering whether to bin or to sell on. They are in mint condition and ideal for a collector as they are first prints.

    I have The Astonishing X Men issue 1 & 2 from 1999 :

    I also have Spawn The Dark Ages issue 1 - 8 :

Mine has a different cover than what is shown there but it is a first print.

    Finally I have Spawn The Undead issues 1 - 3 :

Is it safe to just throw these out or does anyone know if they are worth something. I have been hunting about the net and ebay to see if I can get an idea on what they are potentially worth (if anything) but had no luck.

I am keeping hold of my Lobo comics, they are just complete anarchy and really amusing but I know that X Men comics especially are highly collectible.

    Anyone got any ideas ?

I haven't bought comics for years, but if it's still going - Wizard magazine has an appraisal section in the back. Lists pretty much all comics with their current value.

other than searching ebay I would have no idea how to value those sorts of things.
